Description: If a juicy mango IPA and a sweet, creamy vanilla milkshake had a baby, FBDMM would be that baby. Undoubtedly, the star of the show is the ripe, juicy, somewhat spicy mango, and for this special 3rd Anniversary batch, we used nearly 1,200 lbs of mango puree! To complement the insane fruit character, and to provide substantial enough bitterness to balance all the sweetness, we used over 5 lbs/bbl of Citra, Azacca and Idaho 7 hops. As if New England-style IPAs were not already creamy enough, we added lactose and vanilla to contribute even more creaminess. Fruit, lactose and vanilla in an IPA? What a time to be alive!
