Description: Fruity Bits Grapefruit is dripping with ripe, juicy grapefruit flavor in every sip. For this fun fruited New England-sytle IPA, we used nearly 6 lbs of Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe hops per barrel to complement the bright citrus character contributed by the grapefruit purée and grapefruit zest added during fermentation. The restrained bitterness and soft, pillowy mouthfeel of the base beer give the hops and grapefruit character a chance to shine, while still maintaining excellent balance and drinkability.
