Description: WARNING: This beer is intensely hot and only recommended for those that can withstand the heat! The One Sip Challenge: The World’s Hottest Barrel-Aged Stout. This Double Barrel Imperial Stout was aged for 12 months in a Breckenridge bourbon barrel, then racked into a 477 Distilling barrel for an additional 13 months, for a total of 25 months in barrels! After demonstrating a unique and unusually spicy flavor profile, along with bold milk chocolate notes from the barrel, we decided it was the perfect candidate for some intense heat and peppers. We conditioned the finished beer on Ghost peppers, Trinidad Scorpion peppers and Carolina Reaper peppers to create a beer that few can tolerate more than one sip. Heat seekers rejoice!
