Description: Brewed for Wellington's Fresh Hop Festival Hopstock 2017, Hopfenbär is a collaboration with brewery-mate Tiamana. We've created a hoppy beast of an IPA, featuring a heaps of fresh green sticky Motueka and NZ Cascade in the hopback, then heaps more Nelson Sauvin as dry hops. The nose is a mix of tropical fruit, resiny hops and some of the kerosene typical of many NZ hop varieties. This is followed up by a dry finish with a big whack of hop bitterness. Rawr!
