Description: Little Brown Kiwi is an incredibly flavoursome lower-alcohol beer. Based roughly on the American Brown Ale style, the nose is full of fruity Kiwi hops, underlain by a malt character that is as much earthy as roasty. A high mash temperature, chewy Munich base malt and a hint of rye malt give the beer a mouthfeel that seems more like a 4.5% beer than a 2.5% one. The flavour is a mix of bready, biscuity malt, hints of coffee and lots more fruity NZ hops. Equally at home on tap or handpull, LBK is a lower alcohol brew that's still exciting to drink.
