Description: Some years ago a Canadian named Adin Wener arrived at Wood’s to gain some practical brewing experience. He stayed with us some months and at the end he asked if he could create a beer to his own recipe. We agreed and the end result was Holy Cow. (Being Canadian he was going to name it Train Wreck, we though better of it!). The beer he created is loosely described as an India Pale Ale although I suspect it is not remotely like an original I.P.A. Nonetheless, Adin came up with a winner. The golden ale is full of citrus hop notes from an abundance of North American Cascade hops. We use a small amount of lager and crystal malts to supplement the mainly pale ale malt mash.
