Description: Saison is a farmhouse style ale originating from Wallonia, the French speaking portion of Belgium. Saisons are typically brewed to be consumed during the warmer months, as the style is refreshing and thirst quenching due to its dry finish. We used French Aramis and Citra hops to contribute an herbal, spicy, and citrusy hop character. Fermented with a French Saison yeast, complex aromatics of pepper, tropical fruits, and spice overwhelm the senses. This yeast ferments dry, while leaving a velvety mouthfeel, which is accentuated by the use of over 20% rye malt and flaked rye. Expect to see some funky versions of this beer in the future!
