Description: Steampunk’d is our interpretation of a California Common beer, a native California style made famous around the time of the California Gold Rush and later popularized by a historic San Francisco based brewery. Medium amber in color, this ale/lager hybrid exhibits malty flavors of caramel and toast. Brewed solely with Northern Brewer hops, these give earthy, woodsy, and a slight minty flavor to the beer. Fermented at ale temperature with a lager yeast, the yeast contributes a light fruity character on the finished beer. A summer classic, this one is sure to go down smooth in the hot weather.
