Description: This amber farmhouse ale was aged for 8 months in french red wine barrels. Fermentation utilized our house mixed culture of Brettanomyces, pedioccocus, and lactobacillus. The extended aging in oak is the longest any of our beers have been exposed to wood. Rich oak, developed earthy and fruit qualities from brettanomyces, and integrated acidity and tannins in the finish.
