Description: To celebrate our 5th Anniversary; we ‘captured’ Wolpertinger 2015, and ‘held’ him for several months in a stainless steel ‘cage’, before determining that this year’s Bavarian Beast is a triple fermented ale (three unique yeast strains) that is spicy & Belgian-like. Beyond this we have also noticed that he has a pronounced bourbon essence… presumably from a hibernation period in oak barrels of the same, and we believe he may also have a bit of Burgundy (oak too) in him as well? Alas, it’s tough to fully discern, as he is a wild animal after all… even at five year’s of age.
