Description: Despite it's name, Barley Wine isn't wine but strong, intense beer. This ale is brewed with pale and light caramel malts, for a sweet taste and deep red color. After fermentation, the beer is cold aged for four months to balance the malt and hops, and create a smooth flavor. An additional two months of aging in oak barrels brings out the deep sweetness of the malt and the warming and toasted flavors from the small batch bourbon barrels.
