Description: This is NOT a traditional X-mas beer, so if you expected a beer with lots of spices and a taste of ginger bread, you have come to the wrong place. It’s a simple recipe with only 2 types of malt (pale malt and a medium dark crystal malt), and a total of 10kg hops for 1000l (Chinook, Cascade and Centennial) This dials in around 90 IBU and 8% alcohol and the beer would benefit for some weeks (or years) of storage. With its heavy bitterness it goes well with heavy x-mas food.
