Description: The Trickster is a light refreshing summer beer which is low in bitterness. Our contemporary twist on this traditional Belgian style beer is the use of mandarin peel in place of the usual bitter orange. It contributes delicate mandarin/cumquat top notes over the estery Belgian aroma. Some development went into the fermentation process in order to deliberately exclude phenolic flavours (4-vynil-guaiacol or clove) in the finished beer.
