Description: Layers Of Influence is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Makowiec-Inspired Imperial Stout; a sweet "Florida style" super-pastry collaboration with our friends at J. Wakefield Brewing! With buckets of poppy seeds in the mash and poppy butter in the boil, we sought to mimic the traditional flavors of this Polish poppyseed pastry. After a year in bourbon barrels, we finished it off last week with sweet, sticky orange blossom honey.
