Description: Brewed with Toppling Goliath from Decorah, Iowa we decided to combine our Imperial Stout recipes and showcase one additional ingredient from one specific region. After an extensive boil this monster was the highest gravity wort we have produced out of our brewhouse. The result was a sweeter full blown Pastry Stout. After fermentation we decided to showcase Mexican vanilla beans from the Vera Cruz region. These beans lend sort of a creamy marshmallow flavor to the beer having us think of the chocolate crémeux dessert.
