Description: This is the barrel aged version of our imperial stout Juan de Bolas. Aged for 14 months in Bourbon Barrels, we then conditioned the beer on Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee, Blueberry, Cocoa Nibs, and Toasted Coconut. A flash of blueberry and barrel notes on the nose meld seamlessly into flavors of dark chocolate, chewy coconut, and roasted coffee. And yes, the label is upside down on purpose! Castle Hill is a suburb of Sydney, Australia, where the Aslin sisters grew up.
