Description: When the Czars first tried export stouts from the UK and Ireland they could only think one thing, bigger, stronger, darker! Brewers were contracted to make the Russian royals beers that could warm your toes in the middle of a Moscow winter. The big stouts, have evolved slightly in the US to be a little more bitter and hop forward than their traditional old world counterparts. Our version has a deep caramel head, with malt notes of toasted raisins, molasses, chocolate, and roast coffee. There are subtle hop notes of pine and citrus although it is hard to detect sometimes through all that malt! Intended to be a dessert or winter warmer over a session beer, enjoy with something (or someone) sweet.
