Style: Stout - Imperial / Double
Description: This is our contribution to the incredible, international, industry-wide collab hosted by @weatheredsoulsbrewing and is a blend of both Fresh & Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Brewed with a complex grist of specialty dark malts, and hopped with a meaningful dose of American varietals. Blended post-fermentation with some of our choicest barrel aged stock, including a portion from Bourbon barrels, and another from very freshly dumped @thistlefinchdistillery rye barrels. The barrel aged threads were aged for well over a year in oak, and they're showing a ton of complexity, which rounds out this beer beautifully. Notes of s’mores, chocolate covered pretzel rods, a fresh pull of espresso, hyper lush blackstrap molasses, super smooth bba maple syrup, and Grandma’s homemade devil’s food cake. 10.0% abv.
