Description: iTAP had the opportunity to hand select a barrel from Knob Creek to bottle and call their own. After being emptied, we shipped the fresh barrel over to 4 Hands where they filled it with one of our favorite beers, Madagascar. The bourbon (which aged in the barrel for 13 years) imparted smooth, sweet vanilla notes in the oak which then picked up in the beer and perfectly complimented the vanilla beans used for brewing. A soft oak backdrop with a touch of bourbon rounds out the flavors-adding complexity while balancing out the sweetness of the vanilla. Love, iTAP
