Description: Bottles and Kegs released January 2017. The original rule breaker. FDR 2017 Batch 2 is a more coffee forward beer over 2017 Batch 1's more chocolate forward palate. FDR 2017 Batch 2 is brewed with 30 lbs of Guatemalan coffee roasted locally in Norman, OK and extracted using a french press style method at the end of the boil. Aroma and mouth feel of coffee are present. What to expect - Aroma: Black coffee, and dark fruit and roasted chocolate. Flavor/Taste: Front of Tongue: Deep acidic coffee tones with dark unsweetened chocolate. Mid Front: Dark Fruits (Raisin/Plums). Mid: Dark unsweetened chocolate. Mid Back: Cocoa. Back: Black coffee evaporation. Mouthfeel / Body: Medium velvet with carbonation present.
