Description: The fifth installation of our Oak Aged Imperial Stout series. DA:5 was aged in Buffalo Trace barrels and utilized the same base beer as the previous version (DA:4) but aged an additional 2 months. Conditioned briefly on Mexican coffee beans from @briocoffeeworks and cacao nibs from Belize. Big punchy aroma of roasted oily coffee beans and toasted marshmallow. Notes of rich stone ground bittersweet chocolate and spicy wild cherry. A silky, dry mouthfeel with complementary bourbon barrel characteristics.
