Description: With the changing of the seasons, we take a look back at brewing traditions that long predate Mast Landing. The maibock is historically a celebration of Spring; of the thawing ground and the brightness peaking out from every corner of the world. We put our local spin on the style using Maine Malt House's pilsen malt and wheat, plus Czech Spalt hops for a touch of herbal spice. Rite of Spring drinks lager crisp but with a blooming, hearty, full body, just like the archetypes of the style.
