Description: Aventureux (meaning Adventurous in French) is our Belgian Style Stout aged in Whiskey barrels. This beer is brewed with German Pale Ale malt, Chocolate malt, roasted barley, Black malt, oats, and dark caramelized candi sugar, then aged for 6 months in Rye Whiskey barrels from our neighbors at New England Distilling. The toffee, chocolate and vanilla nose is followed by a smooth bitter chocolate aroma and flavors of whiskey and wood. The finish is dry, roasted and warming.
