Description: This behemoth of barleywine was aged in a single 18 year old Heaven Hill bourbon barrel for 29 months. With a prominent oak character there is no doubt that the nearly 21 years of this barrel’s existence was special. For this iteration of BOF we get intense notes of burnt molasses, spiced vanilla, praline and candied citrus. Like many of our barrel-aged beers we let the carb ride low to let the viscosity and tannic backbone to shine. This one’s a real treat, enjoy!
