Description: Dormant Crown was aged in Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill Rye barrels for 12-33 months. After racking out of the barrels, we conditioned the beer on 55lbs/bbl of toasted and raw coconut, as well as cinnamon and maple. This flavor combination was created with nostalgia in mind. Dormant Crown reminds us of macaroons, french toast, and fireside mornings. While spring is just around the corner, this might just be the last reason of the year to look forward to winter.
