Description: AMB's first annual home brewing competition was completed in May for American Craft Beer Week. The grand prize: the winner would brew their beer with us on our ten barrel system. David Gardner, winning with his milk stout, had this to say: "Having the opportunity to brew the Turtle Island Milk Stout with AMB was as enlightening as it was enjoyable. The experience felt truly unique, as I was accustomed to using my humble 10-gallon homebrew equipment. Making the leap to ten whole barrels of beer would make any amateur brewer feel like they were hanging with the big dogs. The best part about this beer is that the recipe came from my father – and I know that seeing it put on tap at the High Country’s premier brewery would make him swell with pride.
