Description: A one off winter beer, smooth restrained dark flavours marry with the dark cherry flavours to create a perfect winter warmer. Brewed with Slovenian Styrian Goldings Hops and Carafa and crystal malts. Morello cherries, grown just around the corner from the brewery in Orange, were then fermented and aged on a portion of the beer in an American Oak wine barrel freshly emptied of shiraz from an Orange vineyard. The 'cherry beer' from the wine barrel was then blended back with the rest of the beer. "The Gloaming" is that period of the day between sunset and pitch black - this beer takes you to the edge of darkness but doesn't push you over..
