Description: In college one of our owners, Joe Dowd, worked for the chestnut lab at Michigan State University. We're not really sure what he did there, but great things have come from it! Four years later Joe and Baffin reunited with Joe's former employer who had helped create Treeborn Products. Treeborn oven toasts chestnuts, which bring out an incredible nutty, buttery, and toasted flavor. Paired with the smooth creaminess and subtle malt of our cream ale, the chestnuts add a complementary toasted nut and buttery quality unlike any other. Enjoy!
