Description: Our fan favorite weeheavy "DadFlannel" given extended ageing in a second use maple syrup bourbon barrel. Boiled for 12 hours and refermented with dark maple syrup. This dense, malty beer was then aged for 2 whole years in a second use maple syrup bourbon barrel that was first used to age our imperial stout "DreamOfDreams". The second use barrel contributes less overt, more balanced spirit character and more nuanced oak, and cellar character. Has both Olde Ale and Wee heavy characteristics, this cold weather sipper has notes of toffee, real maple syrup, campfire smoke, pipe tobacco, and leather.
