Description: The French region of Alsace borders Germany along the Rhine River, and has been a target of border disputes for hundreds of years. Thusly, the French beers brewed in Alsace draw heavily on Germanic brewing tradition and technique. This area is such a wonder that upon seeing it for the first time, King Louis XIV declared, “What a beautiful garden!” Beautiful Garden, our Alsatian-style Pilsner, is brewed with French-grown Pilsner malt alongside TN-grown white dent corn, cereal cooked and single decocted. We hopped it generously with French-grown Triskel and Mistral hops. Beautiful Garden is light and crisp, with a pleasant aroma of dried rose petals and fresh cut grass. Our house lager characteristics truly shine in this beer- sweet honey and distinct oak flavors leap out of the glass. A touch of bright lemon and a hint of creamy corn dance across the palate, leaving a crisp, light bitterness before vanishing in a dry finish. It’s a definitive summer crusher.
