Description: Brewed as the Nor Cal Pilot Batch for Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Across America Collaboration 12-Pack, Bear Republic’s own Rich Norgrove assembled a band of wildcard brewers across the region – Sierra Nevada, Mad River, Faction Brewing, Magnolia Brewing, and Maui Brewing – to brew a beer that represents each brewer and the region. The group of brewers met at Sierra Nevada in Mills River and after a Willy Wonka style tour, they were handed a list of malts and hops with a simple, “just let us know what you want…” by Sierra Nevada. The band of pirates started throwing ideas out; they had some more beers…and then a few more, and landed on the style. They chose to serenade rather than scream their song…You’re sure to love the nuance of Hibiscus in the nose with the spice of rye layered into a medium hopped Red Ale, aroma for days! The team feels that their beer represents the culture and flair that can be found across their team. They are honored to share their beer with you!
