Description: Brewed at Beavertown Brewery in collaboration with Doug Odell. BA Imperial Pilsner. Mellow bitterness, smooth malty flavours and a floral hop character, underpinned by the aroma of Muscat grapes. Designed to achieve an aromatic and subtly fruity base beer using German specialty malts, a clean-fermenting lager yeast strain and New World hops of noble parentage. The second chapter in a collaboration story, as is our method; half the batch was dry-hopped and sold young, while the other half was aged in oak barrels for 3 months (Muscat de Rivesaltes this time, a fortified white wine from the South of France) Voila! BA Papa Pils! Served gently carbonated at 8-10 ⁰C to bring out the barrel flavours.
