Description: We took our base imperial milk stout base and aged it in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels for 13 months. The original intention was to adjunct it – but we couldn’t bring ourselves to do it. We fell in love with the complexity of this beer fresh out of the barrel. Rich, creamy and sweet caramel, chocolate and toasted nut notes of the base stout meets notes of vanilla, toffee and brown sugar of the bourbon barrel.
