Description: Though we don’t often venture into German beer styles here at Bellwoods, the allure of the refreshing, spritzy Hefeweizen was so great that we decided to go for it. We happened to try a delicious hoppy Hefeweizen while on a business trip earlier this year to Portland, and the style really stuck with us. Something about the mix of banana esters from the German yeast and the citrus punch from American hops come together in holy pagan matrimony. Just the romance you’ve been looking for!
