Description: Beltway’s Berliner Weisse is modeled after the traditional German style using the finest wheat and pale malts. This beer’s tart flavor comes from inoculating the wort with lactobacillus in the kettle and letting it sour before pasteurizing and transferring it for fermentation. Once described as the “Champagne of the North,” we wanted to put our spin on this reemerging style and give you a beer that is light and refreshing with the perfect sour kick! Prost!
