Description: Trofast (pronounced troo-fuhst) is a Norwegian word that means true, loyal, steadfast. Our head brewer is very proud of his Norwegian heritage and his second favorite alcoholic beverage (besides beer, of course) is Aquavit, a spiced Scandinavian spirit that was the inspiration for this potent ale. Brewed strong and bold and conditioned with a special blend of spices, Trofast is meant to be sipped slowly in order to enjoy the powerful and complex notes of citrus, caraway and pepper. Skål!
