Description: Our seasonal American Black Ale also known as Black IPA. "Black Night" is a 1951 song written by Charles Brown, also recorded and performed by many blues artists including the likes of John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy and Sugar Ray to name a few. Black Night is nearly black in color with a moderate caramel and dark roasted malt aroma and flavor. Hop aroma and flavor are reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruit, with a hint of fresh cut pine. Hop bitterness is medium-high, and body is medium. A hop-head’s dessert. Grains: American and British Malts Hops: Citra, Chinook, Centennial, Simcoe and Amarillo Notes: caramel, roasted coffee, toasted cracker, grapefruit, tropical fruit and fresh pine sap.
