Description: Oak Aged American Strong Ale. A beer that warms straight through to your soul. The name "Born Under a Bad Sign" is a blues song recorded by American blues singer and guitarist Albert King in 1967. A dark brown, strong and full-flavored American ale that challenges and rewards the palate with full malty and hoppy flavors and substantial bitterness, along with a barrel aged finish. The flavors are bold yet complementary, and are stronger and richer than average strength American ales. The beer recipes incorporates Maris Otter, Pale Ale, Munich, Dark Candy Syrup and an assortment of specialty malts. We use Chico yeast, and the hops include Chinook, Bravo, CTZ, Cascade, Centennial and Simcoe. Rich and bold flavors coalesce to exhilarate your senses. Cheers! Notes: Rich malt, Caramel, toffee, dried fruit, bourbon notes and vanilla
