Description: Unlike the original batch of Leviathan brewed in December of 2015, the 2017 release of Leviathan was brewed in three batches that were fermented in five separate tanks. All five tanks were then blended together to be aged in a Corsair Triple Smoke barrel for half a year, picking up wonderfully warm notes of whiskey, vanilla and soft oak. Controlled oxidation helped round out the aggressive hop profile of the beer and a short dousing of Penrose V.13 house espresso from Blueprint Coffee and Tahitian vanilla resulted in the stout before you. Extremely limited production, making up only one third of the 2017 Leviathan volume. Enjoy!
