Description: This beer is was brewed in 2014, released in 2015. Brewed the year before release, Ramjet is an English style imperial stout aged for 6 months in New World Distillery Starward whisky barrels (mix of ex-red wine & ex-Pedro Ximenez), then aged for a further 5 months to allow the beer to find itself. This beer is a decadent example of the style, with luscious whisky notes complemented perfectly by the huge malt character. Think cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, oak. Perfect for drinking on a cold winters night, now or in a few years.
