Description: This beer is named after Louie, the original cat that inspired Boxing Cat as the company name. This velvety beer contains several roasted malts including a light dash of smoked malt. The addition of coffee adds a rich complexity to this beer with notes of chocolate, and coffee along with some subtle smokiness. The use of fragrant hops offsets the malt backbone of this beer as they contribute a balanced bitterness and hop bouquet. A truly complex stout with many layers of depth. Winner of a 2013 Silver Medal and 2105 Bronze Medal at the Australian International Beer Awards.
