Description: The latest in our series of concept beers is nothing less than the perfect cinematic companion – a salt caramel popcorn Imperial ale. Bourbon & Rum barrel aged, this 12.8% ale has complex and twisting flavours. Bitter caramel, wood smoke, spice, treacle and vanilla are all present, and intertwine against a smooth and lightly chewy mouthfeel. The salt caramel popcorn lends subtle hints of a smoky brininess. AB:15 should be savoured, perhaps while relaxing into in an art deco cinema with the finest of avante garde film on screen. Or Return of the Jedi. February 2014. 8250 bottles.
