Description: This beer is different to the IPA is Dead Amarillo 2014 release. This release was 6.7% ABV and 75 IBU. The 2014 release is 70 IBU and 7.2% ABV. * * * * * IPA is dead showcases 4 killer hops varieties from 4 corners of the planet. The result is 4 radically different single hop IPAs. Each IPA contains the same malt backbone and is brewed to be 75 IBU and is enthusiastically kettle hopped and massively dry hopped. To appreciate the true character, flavour, power and aroma of our favourite hops you need them in their purest, undiluted form. Can you say you've ever experienced 100% pure hop awesomeness? IPA is Dead is brewed and bottled to do just that. IPA is Dead Amarillo is the 2013 pilot batch for upcoming IPA is Dead series. We did not really need a pilot batch but we just wanted to brew a single hop Amarillo IPA and damn are we glad we did. All the fruity, juicy thirst quenchingly hoppy awesomeness of the Amarillo hop is delivered on a dream of a pale malt backbone. This small batch will be available on tap only in all BrewDog bars.
