Description: This Barrel Aged Midnightporter is a blissful marriage between a Russian Imperial Stout and a Scottish Islay Single Malt! Midnight black through the use of huge amounts of crystal and chocolate malts, on the pallet and in the nose a light but not overdone peatiness. Lots of hop and malt bitterness in the aftertaste. Pleasantly chewy, but nonetheless a very drinkable Imperial Stour!
