Description: The Brown Ale is a hard working, reliable, and trustworthy kind of beer. You know what you are going to get, and it’s always good. The same can be said for Papa Shiff, the patriarch of our brotherhood. Inspired by this great man, we brewed a beer worthy of his name. A subdued nuttiness, along with notes of biscuit, chocolate, and caramel round out this full bodied Imperial Ale. To take it a step further, we have aged the beer in bourbon barrels resulting in a super smooth Brown Ale with bourbon notes and aromatics.
