Description: In January 2016 our friends Txus and Eneko from Laugar Brewery (Basque Country) came over for a collaboration. It's turned out as a crazy but genius triple Saison-ish with salt, rye, smoked whisky malts and infused with bourbon. While thinking of a name for this new puppy we decided to combine two icons of our own cultures, Txapela & Klompen. Txapela being the traditional Basque headwear & Klompen being the traditional Dutch footwear. The beer is unpronounceable in both our languages now - probably neither in yours - but, hey... 'that's De Molen for ya'.
