Description: The shroud cloaks away excess layers of flavor to create a smooth finish. The century and a half old Belgian Dubbel is a brown abbey ale famous for its rich malty taste. At Burial, we took it up a notch by using our house belgian strains over a number of temperature zones to provide a unique ester character. The Shroud is brewed with 6-row pilsner malt, Belgian dark crystal and chocolate malts and traditional dark candy sugar to give it that much needed bubblegum snap.
