Description: We borrowed this name from the infamous fishing and diving location known as the Triple Wrecks, about 30 miles southeast of Cape May. Originally, we stayed true to style, so we made our Tripel Wreck simplistically elegant. We let our favorite, complex Trappist strain of yeast go to town on simple sugars, with fruity esters dominating the profile and a smooth, clean finish hiding the deceptively drinkable 10.3% ABV. This year, we decided to add a new twist to our beloved Tripel Wreck: dark, sweet cherries are added to the mix to play off the beer's natural fruitiness. Tripel Wreck is an absolute beast, but it's balanced and approachable. Don't be afraid to take the dive.
