Description: Our Strong Scottish Ale has a rich and malty sweet flavor with ever-so-slight bittering provided by East Kent Goldings hops. Seiche is clear and coppery in appearance, with a medium mouthfeel, that understates the alcohol content. Named for an oscillating wave, similar to a tidal wave, that occurs in enclosed or partially enclosed bodies of water after atmospheric disturbances… a marine phenomenon that has been documented on Lake Erie as recently as 2012. Pronounced “say-ish”.
