Description: It’s spring time in the brewery with our Hampsha Heffe, an American Wheat Beer. This beer crushes the beach, pool side, on the river or lake and, we dare say, while mowing the lawn. This beer is light straw in color and made with 50% wheat. Gentle hop additions make for a smooth tart finish that is refreshing like a cool sports drink on a hot day! Unlike German wheat beers we use an American yeast so there is no banana/clove flavors that are typical of the German style. We offer it with a lemon wedge in our tasting room.
